Nicky Waters

Nicky is a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Programme and Change Manager with a proven track record of effective strategy development, benefits realisation, change management and programme delivery during over 10 years in both the private and public sectors.

Moving away from her native Scotland, Nicky has worked in partnership with Local Authorities and National Government in England, Wales and New Zealand to transform public services. She has worked with a wide range of subject matter including children’s services, libraries, environmental services, biodiversity and biosecurity to name but a few. She was the programme lead for a unitary authority’s change and transformation programme that covered everything from demand management to commercialisation.

After graduating with an MA in Philosophy (hons) from the University of St Andrews, Nicky began her career in Edinburgh working in the Events and Communications Industry. Here she developed a passion for communication and an interest in Corporate Social Responsibility which eventually took her to the University of Manchester where she completed an MSc in Environmental Governance. As part of the National Graduate Development Programme Nicky found her route into the public sector, working on projects across an authority and gaining a PGDip in Local Government Management at Warwick Business School.

As a Senior Consultant for C.Co, Nicky loves working with different subject matter, having the space to think creatively about complex problems and having equally enthusiastic colleagues to discuss, debate and explore issues with.

In her spare time, Nicky loves good food, strong coffee and tries to keep active through vinyasa yoga, hill walking and stretching the old grey matter whenever possible.
