Tackling the national Social Care crisis

C.Co’s innovative approach to developing a long-lasting solution to the social care crisis is designed to support local authorities to understand, design, implement and embed the Proportionate Care approach in a co-productive manner.

What is Maximising Proportionate Care?

C.Co has developed a new product called Maximising Proportionate Care to support in alleviating the challenges caused by delayed discharges, preventable admissions, a chronic shortage of carers, an increasing number of people needing care and the lack of funding for Social Care at a national and local level.

Implementing the Maximising Proportionate Care approach will improve proportionate assessment skills and integrate these into the workforce through dynamic Moving & Handling training.

Maximising Proportionate Care from C.Co will support with:

  • Reducing delayed discharges and avoidable admissions
  • Maximising carer capacity in the community
  • Improving proportionate assessment skills through training
  • Alleviating financial pressure
  • Achieving strategic and national outcomes

By implementing our Maximising Proportionate Care programme, for every £1 spent with C.Co, over £5 is returned to your organisation.
