Jane has a variety of senior experience in the public and private sectors, including the travel industry and a large accountancy firm, where she acted as the lead manager for social housing tenders and their subsequent service delivery.

Jane is highly skilled at delivering independent and professional risk, governance, audit and assurance advice to a range of clients. She also chairs the CIPFA TISOnline Internal Audit Editorial Board.

Jane has provided leadership to teams of finance and audit professionals, significantly enhancing their productivity and profile. With a results-oriented approach, she delivered projects to tight timelines and to professional quality standards and led complex investigations. She has also provided independent assurance for corporate IT and business change initiatives and has project managed the closure of accounts for a metropolitan authority, and delivered national CIPFA training events.
