Sonia has extensive public and private sector experience, and has recently worked in Local Government, in Finance, Audit and at Extended Leadership level. She has strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering programmes of change.

At South Hams and West Devon Councils, Sonia held a lead role in the T18 Transformation team, responsible for design and delivery of the new Case Management approach across both organisations. She has particular expertise in business modelling, strategy development, transformation, programme and project management.

Sonia’s career has been diverse; working in Further Education, Local Government and the private sector. From implementing a national vocational training pilot scheme for 14 – 16-year-olds, to developing and leading a large team of case managers and supporting new start-ups, her background in finance and people management coupled with her understanding of systems, have been key to delivering results.
